According to reports, three people, including a father and son, have allegedly been subjected to enforced disappearance by Pakistani law-enforcement personnel in separate incidents in Kalat and Panjgur districts of Balochistan.

Abdul Nasir, who is reportedly abducted from Kalat

In Kalat, personnel of the Pakistan military reportedly detained Abdul Nasir, son of Abdul Khaliq, a resident of Khadkocha, Mastung, on 11 October. According to local sources, Abdul Nasir, who worked as a labourer in Kalat, was taken into custody from the Kohing area while on his way to perform morning prayers. Three days have passed without any information about his whereabouts, and officials have not issued any statement regarding the incident.

In another incident in Panjgur, members of the Pakistan armed forces allegedly raided a house in the Issa Tanap area and detained two individuals, identified as Abdul Qadeer and his son Amjad. Witnesses said the forces surrounded their residence during the night operation and took both men away. Their location remains unknown since the arrest.

Incidents of enforced disappearances in Balochistan have long been a source of concern for human rights organisations. Both local and international groups have repeatedly urged authorities to investigate such cases and ensure accountability.
