Former BSO Pajjar chairman among two killed in alleged clash with Pakistani forces in Dalbandin area of Balochistan on Wednesday.
According to reports, two individuals, including a former chairman of the Baloch Students Organization (Pajjar), were killed in an early morning operation by Pakistani security forces in the Dalbandin area of Chagai district, Balochistan.
Local residents reported hearing intense gunfire and multiple explosions between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, as security forces launched a raid on a house believed to be harboring suspected militants.
Officials have confirmed that Zubair Baloch, former head of BSO-Pajjar, and another man identified as Nasir were killed in the operation. Authorities say the raid was conducted based on “credible intelligence” regarding the presence of armed individuals in the area.
According to official statements, the two men opened fire on the raiding team, prompting a heavy exchange of gunfire. Security sources also claim that Zubair Baloch shot himself during the clash, though this has not been independently verified.
A third individual, identified as Jahanzaib, was reportedly arrested during the operation and is currently in custody.
Zubair Baloch was formerly the chairman of the Baloch Students Organization (Pajjar) and later pursued a career in law. He was regarded as an active figure in Baloch political circles.
