The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated attacks across Balochistan in recent days, targeting security personnel, military installations, and state-affiliated groups. The group’s spokesperson, Major Gohram Baloch, issued statements detailing the operations and issuing warnings to those allegedly collaborating with the Pakistani state.

According to BLF, on Saturday, May 31, at around 11:00 AM, BLF fighters ambushed two members of a state-sponsored “Aman[peace] force” near the Parich Hotel in Nal, Khuzdar. Both individuals were killed, and their weapons were seized. The BLF accuses the so-called peace force of being a death squad operating under the patronage of Shahmir Bizenjo, son of National Party leader Aslam Bizenjo, allegedly targeting the Baloch national movement.

The statement further said that later that day at 1:00 PM, in Kharan, BLF fighters detained several police personnel manning a checkpoint near Shahwani Chowk. The fighters confiscated their weapons but released them unharmed after issuing warnings against aiding state forces.

In a separate incident, the BLF claimed responsibility for a May 30 assault on a military camp in Malant, Tump (Kech). According to the group, the attack began at 6:00 PM and involved rocket launchers, grenade launchers, and heavy weapons. The fighters reportedly killed three soldiers and destroyed the camp’s surveillance systems. Following the operation, the BLF conducted patrols in the area and addressed local residents.

Later the same evening, around 7:00 PM, a BLF sniper tactical team (STT) targeted two personnel stationed on the rooftop of a Military Intelligence office in Soro Bazaar, Mand. Both were killed on the spot, BLF claimed.

The BLF reiterated that it will continue to target military camps, intelligence personnel, and collaborators until the realization of an independent Balochistan.

In related incidents, two gas pipelines were bombed on Saturday in Dera Murad Jamali and Sui areas of Balochistan. Unknown assailants used explosive devices to destroy a gas pipeline in Dera Murad Jamali; however, the pipeline was not active at the time. In Sui, a second blast occurred on Kashmore Road near Mazari Kot, also targeting a gas pipeline.

Police and intelligence officers arrived at both scenes, and initial investigations confirmed the use of explosives. As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the pipeline attacks, though such incidents have previously been linked to Baloch nationalist armed groups.
