Ghulam Sarwar, a leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), was killed in a targeted attack along with his companion in the Zehri area of Balochistan on Saturday.
According to reports, Sarwar was returning from a sit-in protest in Zehri when unidentified armed assailants ambushed him at the Trasani location. As a result, the JUI leader and his associate, Amanullah, lost their lives.
Additionally, Sarwar’s gunman sustained injuries in the attack. Authorities are investigating the incident, and further details are awaited.
