At least three people, including the road contractor, were kidnapped when armed men targeted a construction site in Balochistan’s Zhob.
According to reports, armed men attacked the camp of a construction company working on Section Two of the Zhob Mir Ali Khel Tank Road, a project connecting Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The armed men abducted three individuals, including the contractor.
The incident occurred in the Kach Mina area, near the Balochistan-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border, approximately 70 km from Zhob city.
Sources indicate that the raid took place late at night while the camp residents were resting after their day’s construction work.
Following the incident, police launched an investigation and initiated a search operation to recover the hostages. Authorities have stated that further details regarding the circumstances and the motives of the kidnappers will be disclosed soon.
