At least one person was killed, and four others were injured in a traffic accident in Panjgur district, Balochistan, on Tuesday.
According to reports, Ghulam Jan, son of Saddiq and a resident of Marriabad, died in a collision between two motorcycles. His brother, Sattar, sustained injuries, while three others—Zahid, son of Khuda Rahman; Abdul, son of Ali Nawaz; and Muhammad Asif, son of Muhammad Alam, a resident of Chitkan—were also injured in the crash.
The accident occurred near Bugti Chowk, Tar Office, on Chitkan Airport Road. Rescue sources confirmed that the deceased and injured were shifted to the local teaching hospital for medical treatment.
It is noteworthy that in 2024, a total of 20,300 road accidents were reported, affecting 17,531 families. These accidents resulted in over 471 fatalities and more than 30,596 injuries.
