The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), a “pro-independence” armed group, has claimed responsibility for four coordinated attacks on Tuesday, in the Bandki area of Mashkay. The group alleges that eight Pakistani military and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) personnel were killed, and four others injured.

In a statement to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwarham Baloch said the operations, which began at 7:00 AM, inflicted “significant human and material losses” on what he described as “occupying forces.”

According to the statement, the first attack targeted a military post guarding FWO personnel in Bandki, reportedly killing four soldiers and injuring two. The BLF said it will release footage of the attack through its Aashob Media Cell.

In a second attack, BLF fighters allegedly ambushed military foot soldiers dispatched to reinforce the embattled post, killing three personnel and wounding one.

The group said that the third attack targeted FWO personnel working under military supervision at Sherin Gaz in Bandki, claiming additional casualties and damage to equipment.

In the fourth attack, BLF fighters reportedly used “heavy and modern weaponry” to target a military checkpoint in Bandki, resulting in one death and another injury. The BLF claimed military helicopters were deployed to evacuate the casualties.

Major Gwarham Baloch described the attacks as evidence of the BLF’s “superior combat strategies,” asserting that they have placed “significant psychological pressure” on state forces.

He concluded by reaffirming the group’s responsibility for the attacks and reiterated the BLF’s commitment to targeting “occupying forces” and installations until the Pakistani military withdraws from Balochistan.
