Two men have reportedly gone missing in Balochistan’s coastal regions of Gwadar and Pasni after being detained by Pakistani forces.
The missing individuals have been identified as Munawar, son of Qarar, and Zakariya, son of Allah Bakhsh. Local sources said Munawar was taken into custody during a military raid in Pasni’s Babarshor area on Wednesday night. Zakariya was reportedly detained a few days earlier in Gwadar’s Gatti Dhor area during the evening.
There has been no information about their whereabouts or condition since their detention.
In a related development, two men who had been missing for months have been recovered in separate areas of Balochistan.
Muslim, son of Akhtar, who was reportedly forcibly disappeared on October 10 from the Korhask military camp in Khuzdar Naal, has been found in Basima. Imam Jan, son of Sawali, a nursing officer at BMC Hospital, has returned home in Quetta. He had been missing since January 3, 2024, when he was reportedly detained in Essa Nagri, Brewery Road.
