The Inter-Services Public Relations, the media wing of the Pakistan army, claimed in a statement that fifteen “militants” were killed in a fierce encounter in Balochistan’s Zhob district on Tuesday.
The ISPR statement said that the clash occurred during an intelligence-based operation in Zhob on Tuesday, December 10.
“A significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the site. However, the operation also led to the death of Sepoy Arif Ur Rehman and injuries to two other personnel,” the ISPR said.
The Tahreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)-affiliated media outlets confirmed that a Tashkeel (group) of fifteen “militants” was killed in security forces’ ambush while traveling through the Zhob district in southern Balochistan.
