Jaish ul-Adl, an armed Baloch group operating in Sistan and Baluchestan, has distanced itself from a recent attack on Iranian Basij forces in Western Balochistan, which resulted in the death of five Baloch members of the Basij militia. In a statement released by the group, Jaish ul-Adl claimed that the killings were part of a psychological and political plot orchestrated by Iran’s security agencies, specifically the Intelligence Organization of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The statement asserted that the five individuals were killed by IRGC forces themselves, not by Jaish ul-Adl, as part of a scheme to undermine the ongoing Baloch resistance movement. The group accused the Iranian government of fabricating such incidents to discredit their cause and sow distrust among the local Baloch population.

According to the group, this recent event in the border region of Sarkan, near the Bam Pasht area, is just one example of a broader conspiracy to reduce Jaish ul-Adl’s popularity and create divisions between the group and the local people.

Jaish ul-Adl has called on the public to remain aware of such tactics and reiterated its commitment to its cause, stating that the Iranian regime is attempting to manipulate public perception for political gain.
