The ‘Balochistan Kitaab Karwaan,’ an initiative by the Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC), has entered its 13th day, bringing a series of book fairs to various regions of Balochistan. This initiative, which began with the New Year, aims to promote reading and literary awareness throughout Balochistan.
According to the BSAC’s central spokesperson, the last three days have seen the initiative extend to areas including Kalat, Khuzdar, Pasni, Bolan, Kohlu, Pishukan, Dasht, Shapuk, and several other areas.
These book fairs have drawn a wide array of visitors, from students and teachers to writers and other community members. Attendees have been actively engaging with the diverse range of books available and purchasing titles of interest.
The spokesperson highlighted the campaign’s success in reaching almost every corner of Balochistan. With plans to continue this momentum, the next book fair is scheduled to take place in Soorab.
