The CTD Balochistan conducted multiple house raids following the recent “security threat alert” in Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan.
According to reports, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan has allegedly conducted several house-to-house search operations in Quetta following the threat alert issued regarding the possibility of attacks by “pro-independence” Baloch armed groups to target senior officials of the CTD in the city.
The CTD raided multiple houses in Sariab Road, Chakki Shahwani, Faizabad, Shahwani Street, Master Colony, Link Badini and Mohammad Shami Town in the city. However, no arrests have been reported so far.
It’s pertinent to mention that security has been further tightened in the city in view of the plans of the Baloch armed groups, especially the Baloch Liberation Army, to target the CTD head office.
