At least three youths have reportedly been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in the Khuzdar and Kech districts of Balochistan.
According to reports, Pakistani forces are alleged to have detained two youths from the Awaran district and subsequently moved them to an undisclosed location. The detainees have been identified as Zafar, son of Haji Ghulam Nabi, and Inayatullah, son of Abdul Khaliq.
Meanwhile, the Human Rights Department of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), PAANK, confirmed on Monday that Pakistani forces summoned the youths to their camp and allegedly forcibly disappeared them.
In addition, reports have emerged from Turbat, the main city of the Kech district, that a few days ago, security forces detained a youth during a midnight raid. The individual was identified as Balach, son of Maula Bakhsh.
As per sources, the aforementioned youth belongs to a very poor family and is the primary breadwinner for his household.
Meanwhile, neither government officials nor the district administration have commented on these incidents.
It is worth mentioning that Balochistan has been witnessing cases of enforced disappearances on a daily basis. Human rights organizations and Baloch activists have continuously accused Pakistani intelligence agencies and the Army of being responsible for these violations.
