At least four people were killed and eighteen others were reportedly injured in two separate traffic incidents in Kalat and Chaman town of Balochistan on Tuesday.

According to reports, four people were killed on the spot and more than six were injured in a collision between a passenger coach and a Jeep on Quetta-Karachi RCD highway in Manguchar area of Kalat district.

The injured and deceased were rushed to the Mastung district hospital. According to Levies, the condition of two of the injured is critical.

Similarly, A bus carrying passengers overturned in Chaman district of Balochistan.

According to levies sources, a passenger bus heading from Karachi to Chaman overturned after falling off the road near Dara Kozak Purana Chaman. As a result of the incident, 12 passengers were injured. The injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital Chaman.

It’s pertinent to mention that road accidents are not uncommon in Balochistan, road accidents every day claim precious lives due to poor construction and dysfunctional highways throughout the region.
