A young man was arrested and disappeared allegedly by the Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies for the second time from Absar area of district Kech’s Turbat city.
According to reports, Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies conducted a raid at a shop and forcibly disappeared a young man identified as Sarfaraz son of Ayub from Absar, the outskirts of Turbat city.
It’s pertinent to mention that the aforementioned youth was detained seven months ago and released after a month of disappearance.
Multiple such cases have been reported in several areas of Balochistan as many people have been allegedly forcibly disappeared for second or third time.
Acording to several rights organisations, enforced disappearances have become a routine by Pakistani military forces and intelligence agencies as thousands of people, especially youngsters, are arrested and disappeared on a daily basis.
In Balochistan, many Baloch missing persons have returned in a semi-dead condition after spending years in torture cells and mutilated bodies of the many have been recovered in the wilderness.
The families of Baloch missing persons and campaign groups are continuously battling the enforced disappearances as several demonstrations, including hunger-strike camps and seminars have been organised to gain attention of the Pakistani government and the international community.
