In the Kech district of Balochistan, two brothers were reportedly killed in their home by unidentified armed assailants.
The attack reportedly took place in the Nazarabad area of Tehsil Tump. The deceased have been identified as Nadil, also known as Ganga, and Waseem, both residents of Nazarabad.
Sources indicate that the men were formerly members of a Baloch pro-independence armed group, later surrendering to Pakistani forces. It’s important to note that this information hasn’t been independently verified.
In recent times, individuals who have surrendered have reportedly become targets for groups advocating for Balochistan’s freedom. These groups allege that such individuals maintain ties with “death squads” allegedly supported by Pakistani forces, and are accused of informing on Baloch freedom fighters, as well as being involved in other harmful activities in the society.
As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
