In Dera Murad Jamali, a local resident, identified as Faiq, claims to have been severely assaulted by the SHO (Station House Officer) of the Phuleji Police Station. Due to the alleged extreme violence, Faiq reportedly suffered significant injuries leading to substantial blood loss.
Witnesses report that following the incident, a weak and visibly injured Faiq made his way to the DIG (Deputy Inspector General) Office in Naseerabad to lodge a complaint. There, he was seen waiting under a tree in intense heat. However, upon his arrival, he was informed that the senior officer was unavailable due to health reasons.
The reason for the alleged assault remains unclear. Faiq, recounting the incident, stated, “If anything happens to me, the SHO of Phuleji would be responsible.” The matter is yet to be investigated further.
