Pakistani forces’ main camp was reportedly attacked by armed men in Panjgur city of Balochistan on Monday morning.

According to reports, armed men attacked the main camp of Pakistani forces in Chitkan, an adjacent area of Panjgur city.

The attackers reportedly escaped unhurt.

Sources confirmed that multiple explosions and gunfire were heard in the area. However, government officials have not commented on the incident yet.

Meanwhile, a pro-independence Baloch armed group, The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in a press release accepted responsibility for targeting Pakistani forces with grenade launchers.

The group also claimed responsibility for another separate attack in Kharan district of Balochistan.

According to the group’s spokesman Jeeyand Baloch, BLA fighters attacked the main gate of the police station in Kharan city on Sunday night with a hand grenade bomb when a police vehicle was leaving the station.
