A forcibly disappeared man has been released, while four more people including two brothers have gone missing from different locations in Balochistan.
According to reports, Sakhi Bakhsh s/o Balach, a resident of the Sar-Dasht Kulanch area of Balochistan has been recovered from Karachi, who was allegedly detained by Pakistani forces in 2019 from Sharafi Goth in Karachi.
However, four more persons went missing in different areas of Balochistan. Yousuf Badeni s/o Faiz Badeni, a grocer in Kharan city of Balochistan was called by the forces in the morning to deliver groceries to the FC camp. When he went to the camp with his friend, the forces detained him and let the other man go.
After Yousuf’s detention, the security forces raided his house and detained his brother Parvez Badini.
Two other men named Mittha Khan s/o Malu Marri and Hafeez s/o Rozi Khan were reportedly detained on October 16th, since then their whereabouts remain unknown. The news of their abduction surfaced on Tuesday.
It is pertinent to mention that enforced disappearances are still rampant throughout Balochistan, five incidents of enforced disappearances have been reported in the last 24 hours only in Kharan. Last night, Pakistani forces reportedly detained three young men identified as Jabir Yalanzai s/o Pazeer Ahmed, Najibullah Yalanzai s/o Muhammad Hussain, and Shafqat Yalanzai s/o Abdul Rahim, and shifted them to an unknown location.
