one coal miner was killed after a gas explosion occurred in a coal mine in Harnai district of Balochistan on Sunday.
According to reports, the explosion was caused as a result of methane gas accumulation in the mine. The incident took place in the Talib Leez area of Harnai.
The dead body of the miner was brought to district health hospital and handed over to relatives of the deceased.
Hazardous and unsafe working conditions inside coal mines of Balochistan have claimed numerous lives. Such incidents in coal mines of Balochistan have become a common occurrence.
