Pakistani security forces were attacked by unidentified gunmen in Kech and Kahan districts of Balochistan, on Saturday.
According to details, Pakistani forces were targeted with a hand grenade in Turbat, the main city of Kech district in Balochistan.
The grenade attack took place at a checkpoint near the old Civil hospital in Turbat City. After the blast, Forces cordoned off the area while security in the city has been tightened.
According to the authorities two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel Lance Naik Qismat Ullah and Sharifullah were injured in the blast.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack at the time of filing this report. However, Baloch insurgents have been attacking security forces and Government installations in various parts of Balochistan.
Whereas, a Baloch armed group known as United Baloch Army (UBA) has claimed responsibility for an ambush attack on Pakistani forces convoy near Kahan and Kohlu areas of Balochistan.
UBA spokesman, Mazar Baloch said in a media statement that UBA fighters attacked a convoy of occupying forces as they were travelling between Kohlu and Kahan. Mazar Baloch claimed that a personnel of Pakistani forces was killed and another was wounded in the attack.
