Fresh military operation has been reportedly launched in mountain ranges of Kalat, Noshki and Kharan districts of Balochistan.
According to reports, the military operation was launched this morning in which the ground and aerial forces are taking part. There are also reports of armed clashes during the operation, but no casualties have been reported so far.
According to local sources, Pakistan army convoys have been seen forging in mountain ranges of Shur Parod, Kharan and Noshki.
“Gunship helicopters were witnessed shelling in Mohammadi and Sankri mountain ranges of Noshk and Kharan.
Military officials have not yet provided any information regarding the operation, while no details have been received so far regarding casualties due to the siege.
Such operations in Balochistan are not uncommon. During last two decades, forces have carried out several military operations in Balochistan. The Baloch activists and political parties allege that civilians suffer huge losses during these indiscriminate operations.
