According to details, two persons were killed and two others were wounded in various firing incidents in different districts of Balochistan during the last 24 hours. The firing incidents took place in Kalat, Quetta and Panjgur districts.
Fazil Muhammad son of Raees Faqeer Nichari, a resident of Naseer Abad was going to his home in his car, when armed men shot him in Kalat area, as a result he died on the spot.
According to police, the assailants managed to escape the scene, later the body was shifted to the hospital. After the necessary procedure, the dead body was handed over to the heirs. The motive for the killing was not immediately clear; police has started investigating into the matter.
Another firing incident took place in Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan, in which the gunmen killed a man named Gul Hassan, while the attackers managed to escape after the murder.
In another incident in Panjgur district of Balochistan, unidentified armed men attacked 2 motorcyclists, Abdul Waheed and Fareed were wounded in a result of firing.
According to police, the motive of the incident could not be ascertained but search for the culprits continues.
In another news, unidentified motorcyclists reportedly hurled two hand grenades at a checkpoint of Pakistani forces in Mastung.
The Pakistani forces have been targeted in and around Mastung in the past, which have been claimed by various Baloch armed groups, but no group has claimed responsibility for today’s attack yet.
