Pakistani forces have abducted scores of civilians within a week only from Kech District of Balochistan.
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, thirteen persons have been forcefully disappeared by security forces in Turbat and Hoshab areas of Balochistan.
A man named Maqbool s/o Rafeeq was abducted from FC check post in hoshab city Kech district.
Whereas according to local reports, Pakistani forces raided Apser Bazar area and arrested 12 men, who were moved to an undisclosed location.
Five persons have been identified as Parvaiz o/o Ayoub Sharif s/o Sulaiman zaid s/o Waleed Baloch Hafeez s/o Hatir
khalil s/o pullain whereas other seven abducties haven’t been identified yet.
Abduction-styled-arrests are common in Balochistan during search operations by Pakistani forces, but detainees are not produced in front of the court and are detained at undisclosed locations.
International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International accuse Pakistani security forces as the perpetrators of ‘illegal abductions in Balochistan’.
According to Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), a campaign group by families of Baloch missing persons, tens of thousands of Baloch men, women and children are under custody of Pakistani forces.
