A blast targeting a passenger train killed four in Dera Murad Jamali area of Balochistan
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, a huge blast damaged a portion of the railway track as the passenger train reached Dera Murad Jamali, which resulted in killing four and injuring six others.
“Jaffar Express was going from Rawalpindi city of Punjab to Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan, when attacked,” said Police sources.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Police and personnel of other law enforcement agencies reached the spot as investigation into the incident were under way.
Responsibility of the attack was taken by a Baloch militant group, Baloch Liberation Tigers (BLT).
Meeran Baloch, the spokesman for the group claimed to kill four personnel of Pakistan army, damaging five cabins and the railway track. He vows to continue such attacks until the independence of Balochistan.
