Officer of a NGO has been abducted from Chagai district of Balochistan
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, a NGO officer went missing on Monday evening when Pakistani forces arrested him.
As per the witnesses, NGO officer Hussain Jamaldini was arrested on a checkpoint by Pakistan forces near Girdi Jungle area of Chagai and moved to an undisclosed location.
Hussain Jamaldini is working with a NGO ‘Balochistan Rural Support Program’ BRSP, as an engineer.
Mr. Jamaldini is son of Haji Ali Gohar Jamaldini, former District Education Officer (DEO) Chagai.
The reason of the arrest has not been ascertained yet.
A surge has been witnessed in the abductions of students in Balochistan after an attack on Chinese consulate in Karachi by a Baloch insurgent group.
Amnesty international and campaign groups in Pakistan have criticized Pakistan’s secret agencies of abduction-styled-arrests and detaining people extra-judicially.
