Baloch leader Dr Allah Nazar has said that National Party, a pro-government party, has exposed its true face by supporting Shafiq Mengal in the by-polls

According to the details, Dr Allah Nazar, leader of a pro-independence armed organization, Balochistan Liberation Front, revealed in a tweet last night that National Party has exposed its true face by supporting a death Squad head in the by-elections.

Dr Allah Nazar named Hasil Bizenjo, leader of NP, that he has orchestrated the support for notorious death squad leader Shafiq Mengal in by-polls.

National Party and JAP(Jhalawan Awami Panel), a party led by Shafiq Mengal, were in the unannounced alliance during the Pakistani general elections, but the alliance failed to win a seat in the legislative assemblies.

Alliance got another opportunity during the by-elections as Akhtar Mengal vacated his hometown seat and let Akbar Mengal, a former MPA of his party, to compete against his Uncle Shafiq Mengal, who also happen to be arch-rivals.

During the by-elections, National Party openly supported Shafiq Mengal, who is accused of committing human rights violations in Balochistan.

Shafiq Mengal failed to win the seat from Wadh in by-elections as well but this time the alliance managed to bag 14 thousand votes, which analysts consider alarming for Akhtar Mengal in coming days.
