A field camp of an oil and gas exploration company has been attacked in Mach area of Bolan by unknown assailants.
According to the details received by The Balochistan Post, the exploration team was attacked in Aab-e-Gum area of Mach.
The attack was carried out last night, and according to the locals, firing and heavy explosions were heard.
There are reports of casualities, howerver, due to the field camp’s location in remote areas of Bolan, the details of casualties could not be ascertained.
The latest violence comes only days after BLA targeted Pakistani hydrocarbon exploration company near Aab-e-Gum in Mach. The organisation’s spokesperson, Jeehand Baloch, had claimed that several employees of the oil and gas company were also killed in 2nd July’s attack.
Baloch pro-freedom armed groups blame Pakistan of ‘looting Baloch resources’. In past, through media statements, they have warned exploration companies to stay out of Balochistan.
