Unidentified armed men abducted Aurangzeb Majeed, the younger brother of Balochistan Assembly member Meena Majeed, in Balochistan’s Kech district on Tuesday, police said.
According to police, four men travelling on two motorcycles took Aurangzeb away at gunpoint from his native village of Balochabad in Mand. His whereabouts remained unknown at the time of reporting.
Meena Majeed also serves as the Balochistan government’s adviser on sports and youth affairs.
Balochistan Home Minister Ziaullah Langove confirmed the abduction during a press conference in Quetta.
