Eight men have reportedly been forcibly disappeared in separate incidents in Kech and Mastung districts of Balochistan, while another missing man has been recovered in Kech. Meanwhile, families of missing Baloch students joined a protest camp in Quetta to demand their loved ones’ recovery.
In Kech’s Tump area, Pakistani forces reportedly raided several homes in Kohad on Sunday night and detained four men, whose whereabouts have since remained unknown.
Local sources identified them as Bilal, son of Hanif; Sabit, son of Tapi; Marwan, son of Ayub; and Adeel, son of Qayyum.

The sources alleged that forces personnel took jewellery, motorcycles, household belongings and other valuables during the raids. They also reported that a shop was ransacked and goods were taken.
Separately, two students, Tayyab Nasir, 24, and Pazeer Nasir, 28, both sons of Haji Nasir, were reportedly taken from the same house in Aapsar, Turbat, at around 5 p.m. on October 17, 2026.
Pazeer, originally from Gili in Kech’s Buleda area, had previously been subjected to enforced disappearance on three occasions, according to his family. This is reportedly the fourth time he has been taken.
In a separate incident, brothers Izzatullah Baloch, 27, and Asif Baloch, 25, sons of Abdul Razzaq, were allegedly forcibly disappeared from Sarawan Town in Mastung on October 15, 2026. Both work as mechanics.
Meanwhile, Murad Jan, son of Qadir Bakhsh, was reportedly recovered near his home in Kech’s Sarnkan area on October 15. According to sources, he had been forcibly disappeared a day earlier.
The developments come as the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) protest camp against enforced disappearances continued outside the Quetta Press Club for its 6,393rd day on Monday.
People from different walks of life visited the camp and expressed solidarity with families of missing persons. Relatives of Suhail Baloch, Faseeh Baloch and Riaz Satakzai also joined the protest and appealed to senior authorities to secure their safe recovery.

Riaz was reportedly forcibly disappeared from Daghari Cross in Mastung district on May 6, 2026. Suhail and Faseeh were reportedly detained by Pakistani forces personnel at the University of Balochistan on November 2, 2021, and have remained missing since.
VBMP Chairman Nasrullah Baloch demanded the recovery of Suhail, Faseeh, Riaz and all other missing persons. He said anyone accused of an offence should be produced in court and dealt with according to law.
