An elderly man was killed in a firing incident reportedly involving Pakistani military forces in the Drachkoh area of Dasht, Kech district, on Tuesday.
According to local sources, the incident occurred after Pakistani forces opened fire in the area, resulting in the death of a man identified as Sher Dil, son of Washdil, a resident of Drachkoh.
Sources stated that the victim died at the scene.
Incidents of a similar nature have previously been reported from Kech district where several people have been reported injured and killed including women and children by the indiscriminate gun firing and mortar shelling of Pakistani military forces.
