The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) said on Thursday its Majeed Brigade carried out a suicide attack on a Pakistani military convoy in Balochistan’s Kech district.
In a statement, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said the group’s “Fidayee Unit” carried out a “precise Fidayee attack” on army buses in the Dasht area, killing “more than a dozen personnel.”
The BLA also circulated images through its media channel Hakkal, showing military buses in motion before the attack, followed by the blast and the wreckage of a bus.
“The Baloch Liberation Army accepts full responsibility for this attack,” the statement said, adding that a detailed statement would be issued later.
