A Sindhi “pro-independence” armed group has claimed responsibility for an attack on vehicles operated by Pakistan’s military-run logistics company on Tuesday night.

The Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA) claims its fighters opened fire on two vehicles operated by the National Logistics Cell (NLC). The incident reportedly took place on the Sujawal–Mirpur Bathoro Road on Tuesday night.

In a statement shared with local media, SRA spokesperson Sodho Sindhi said drivers were severely injured and the vehicles were damaged.

Mr Sindhi accused the Pakistani state of “occupying Sindh” and exploiting its resources “without restraint.” He alleged that Sindh’s land and resources belong to future generations of the Sindhi people and would be defended “at all costs.”

“We will continue our resistance,” the statement read, “until the complete national independence of Sindh is achieved.”

The SRA identifies itself as part of a broader nationalist movement advocating for an “independent Sindh.” It is also a member of Baloch Raji Ajoi Sangar (BRAS), a coalition of “pro-independence” armed groups, which includes the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF).

As of now, Pakistani authorities have not issued a statement on the attack.
