The Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA) chief, Syed Asghar Shah, issued a media statement declaring China as the biggest enemy of the Sindhis and ally of the Punjabis, who he claims have enslaved the Sindhi people. Shah emphasized that the “conscious” people of the Sindhi nation and the workers of the Sindhi national movement understand that a friend of their foe cannot be their friend.

Shah stated that for the past 77 years, China has been a close ally of Punjab, the oppressor of the Sindhi people. He alleged that China aims not only to capture and exploit the mineral wealth, coastal waters, and transportation routes of the Sindhi and Baloch nations but also to establish itself as a challenger to the global order. He described China as a threat to the world and all of Asia, questioning how a conscious nation could support such a threat.

He claimed that China is providing financial and military aid to Punjab, the enemy of the Sindhi people. He criticized those who ignore this reality due to minor favors (“door repairs”), arguing that only an ignorant individual would do so, while a politically and nationally conscious person would never support such actions.

Shah clarified that the Sindhi national movement is not owned by any specific group or individual but is an extensive platform comprising several large and small organizations, each contributing in its unique way. He noted that these organizations have separate structures, leaderships, and policies, and no individual can release a single statement on behalf of everyone. He rejected such actions and informed the public that the SRA has its own policy, leadership, and sub-organizations, and it will not take any responsibility for protecting Chinese citizens and workers in Sindh.

Shah concluded by stating that any shallow statements from other groups or individuals are aimed at misleading the Sindhi national movement. He described these stances as characteristic of a parochial mentality, asserting that they do not represent the collective stance of the Sindhi nation, Sindhi political workers, or the SRA.
