A big explosion hit Umer Farooq Chowk in Khuzdar right after the evening prayer on Sunday. Three people died and more than ten were injured.

The blast shattered the windows of nearby shops and damaged vehicles. The police cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the incident.

The police say the explosives were concealed within a motorcycle. Many people, including a woman, were injured in the attack. The Umer Farooq Chowk is the business center of Khuzdar. It houses several shopping centers, which are flocked by hundreds of people days before Eid.

The Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti, called the attack cowardly. He vowed to punish the perpetrators.
