On Thursday, PTM chief and Pashtun nationalist leader Manzoor Pashteen was produced before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad, the court handed him over to CTD on seven-day physical remand.
According to PTM sources, Manzoor Pashteen was produced to the court with a black cloth on his head. They said that the situation of the judicial system is that when the murderers of Pashtuns like Rao Anwar are presented in the court, they appear with the protocol and making a victory sign, but the leader of the Pashtuns is presented in the court with his face covered.
It’s worth mentioning that prominent Pashtuns leader Manzoor Pashtun was detained from Chaman city of Balochistan and his whereabouts were disclosed afted his arrest. After participating in the Chaman sit-in, Pashteen was allegedly abducted and subsequently moved to an undisclosed location when he was en route from Chaman to Turbat city to participate in the sit-in against the “extrajudicial killing” of Balach Maola Bakhsh by CTD in a “fake” encounter.
