The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of recent attacks, including targeting individuals they allege were state informants and an attack on a Pakistani Navy camp in Turbat.

The assault on the Turbat Navy camp reportedly occurred on the night of September 19th. According to the BLF statement, their fighters targeted a northern security post within the camp using heavy automatic weapons. This skirmish resulted in the death of one navy personnel and the injury of another, while the post itself sustained significant damage. In the aftermath, the BLF alleges that Pakistani forces directed gunfire towards civilian areas.

The group’s spokesperson, Major Goahram Baloch, also accused the Pakistani Navy of occupying Baloch land to establish the camp in Turbat, alleging its continuous expansion. He claims the camp plays a pivotal role in overseeing military operations, especially in the Makran, Kech, and Gwadar regions. Furthermore, the BLF asserts that the camp houses an underground detention facility with more than seventy rooms.

In addition to the Turbat attack, the BLF claimed responsibility for the deaths of Seth Abdul Rasheed and Ashraf, son of Gajian, labeling them as state informants. Rasheed was allegedly involved in facilitating drone attacks against BLF fighters. The statement suggests Rasheed cooperated with the Pakistani army, placing tracking devices in the organization’s resources to pinpoint their locations. BLF claims to possess evidence of Rasheed’s involvement, promising its eventual disclosure to the public.

In a separate incident on September 13, BLF alleges the capture and subsequent execution of Ashraf son of Gajian following a confession during interrogation. Ashraf reportedly admitted to aiding the Pakistani Army’s operations in Gichk, Soler, and Raghe, allegedly playing a role in identifying and blocking the movement routes of BLF fighters.

The BLF concluded its statement with a vow to continue their attacks on what they describe as the “occupying Pakistani state” until Balochistan is liberated.
