The University of Balochistan’s Kharan sub-campus organized an awareness seminar and walk, underlining the vital role that education plays in societal progress. The event was part of the campus’s ongoing annual admissions campaign.

The walk began at the university and ended at Chief Chowk, drawing a diverse crowd of students, children, political figures, and civil society members in Kharan.

Aqeel Baloch, the sub-campus Director, alongside notable figures such as Ahmad Mehr Baloch of the Teacher Association and KD Khaliq Dad from the National Party, among others addressed the attendees. They collectively highlighted the transformative power of education in personal and societal development.

The university’s ongoing admissions campaign is particularly reaching out to students who have completed their FA and FSC. They also mentioned the launch of new classes in three subjects. These courses are available both on-campus and through remote learning programs to make higher education more accessible for students in Kharan.

Political and civil organizations in Kharan expressed hope that such initiatives would serve as a driving force, inspiring the younger generation to prioritize education. They also called on the community at large to lend their support to educational institutions.
