At least four people including a levies official lost their lives and two children suffered serious injuries in three separate deadly road accidents in Kech and Quetta districts of Balochistan on Monday.

According to reports, a levies official named Akber son of Muhammad Hayat was killed on the spot and his son and a little daughter were seriously injured when a high-speeded Corolla vehicle hit his motorcycle on Zubaida Jalal highway near Kalatuk outskirts of Kech district.

The locals said that the vehicle ran away after the incident and no rescue teams reached the spot while the injured and the deceased were taken to the District hospital by the locals.

In another accident, a student was killed in a road accident in the Kesak area of Kech, police said that a motorcyclist was killed on the spot after a car collided with the motorcycle. According to police, the deceased has been identified as Dad Jan, son of Noor Bakhsh — his body has been shifted to the Turbat Teaching Hospital for necessary procedures.

Similarly, at least two people were killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle on Hanna Road in Quetta on Monday, police said. Police shifted the deceased to a nearby hospital.
