PDM leaders of Balochistan said on Friday that the present government had failed to fulfil its promises.

According to details, the opposition 11-party alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) held a public meeting in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, on Friday against the current government.

While addressing the public meeting at the Bacha Khan Chowk, the PDM leaders said the struggle they had launched would continue until the ouster of the rulers who had been “imposed on the country after stealing the people’s mandate in the 2018 elections”.

The provincial leaders of the Balochistan National Party-Mengal, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam’s, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Awami National Party, National Party,  PML-N and PPP took part in the meeting and spoke to public.

PDM leaders, while criticising the ruling party, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) said that the wrong policies of PTI leadership has bankrupted the country. “Those who had promised to provide 10 million jobs to the people have snatched their existing jobs and brought those people on the verge of committing suicide,” opposition leaders said.

They said that despite arrests and “other excesses” committed by the government the PDM would continue their struggle until they achieve their goal.

Whereas, the PDM also organised protest meetings and demonstrations in Khuzdar, Gwadar and Hub cities of Balochistan.
