The bodies of three young men have been recovered in Gwadar, with a Baloch human-rights organisation alleging that all three had previously been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces during separate raids earlier this year.

According to police, three unidentified bodies were recovered from the Kuldan area of Dannuk in Gwadar and were shifted to hospital for identification.

The victims were later identified by Paank, the human-rights branch of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), as Hassan Rafiq, Ehsan Hassan and Nadil Baloch.

Paank said all three had previously been reported missing and alleged that they had been subjected to enforced disappearance by Pakistani security forces. The organisation subsequently issued a statement condemning what it described as their “extrajudicial killing” and called for an independent investigation.

According to Paank, Hassan Rafiq was released on bail from Turbat Jail on 24 August 2026 but was allegedly taken away outside the prison shortly afterwards. His body was later recovered in Dannuk.

Paank said Ehsan Hassan, the son of political figure Muhammad Hassan Baloch, was allegedly taken along with his brother, Balach Hassan, during a raid on their family home in Tal Sar, Jiwani, on 22 January 2026. The organisation said Ehsan’s whereabouts remained unknown until his body was recovered.

Nadil Baloch, a 20-year-old student from Panwan, Gwadar, was reported missing after allegedly being taken from his home during a security raid on 19 April 2026. Human-rights monitors had previously documented his disappearance, according to Paank.

Paank said the three bodies were recovered together in Kuldan and alleged that pieces of paper bearing the victims’ names were found in their clothing.

The organisation has called for an immediate, independent and transparent investigation into the deaths and urged that those responsible be held accountable through legal process. It also called on international human-rights organisations to take notice of the cases.

Pakistani authorities have not yet publicly commented on the reported deaths or the allegations made by Paank.

The discovery of bodies of people previously reported missing has been documented in Balochistan over several years, while rights organisations have repeatedly raised concerns about enforced disappearances and alleged extrajudicial killings in the region.

International human-rights organisations, including the United Nations (UN) and Amnesty International, have previously raised concerns about human-rights violations in Balochistan.
