Three brothers were killed and another man injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) struck their vehicle in Balochistan’s Dukki district on Sunday, police said.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Mansoor Ahmed Buzdar said the explosion occurred as the vehicle passed through a ravine in the Killi Bakhtiar Khan area of Loni.
The deceased were identified as Rehmatullah, Durrani and Naimatullah. Another person, identified as Atiqullah, sustained injuries in the blast and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police launched a search operation in the area to trace and arrest those responsible for the attack, SP Buzdar said.
No group immediately claimed responsibility, and the motive remained unclear.
