Multiple armed attacks were reported across several areas of Balochistan on Tuesday and Wednesday, including an attack in Kech district that left one man dead and at least three others injured, as well as separate incidents targeting police and Pakistani military installations in Chagai, Khuzdar and Kalat regions of Balochistan.

According to local sources, unidentified armed men attacked a location in the Buleda Soraap area of Kech district after sunset on Tuesday. Residents reported hearing explosions and intense gunfire during the attack.

The target of the attack was reportedly a compound associated with Muslim Jeeyand, who was among at least four people wounded. Local sources later said that Jeeyand succumbed to his injuries.

Sources stated that Jeeyand had previously been affiliated with a Baloch armed group before later surrendering to Pakistan Army. According to some local sources, he subsequently led a locally based armed militia commonly referred to as a “death squad” and that the group enjoyed the backing of Pakistani military forces.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, and the motives behind the incident remain unclear. The condition of the other injured individuals was not immediately known.

In separate incidents reported from other parts of Balochistan, local and police sources said that a police station in Chahter, Chagai district, was destroyed in an explosion allegedly carried out using explosive materials. According to police sources, the blast occurred during the night and caused extensive damage to the building.

Meanwhile, in the Yakmach area of Chagai, unidentified armed men reportedly opened fire on three commercial vehicles. Sources said the vehicles were rendered inoperable, while one cargo vehicle was allegedly taken away by the attackers.

In Wadh, Khuzdar district, two Pakistani military vehicles, including an armoured vehicle, were reportedly targeted on the RCD Highway. Local sources claimed that both vehicles sustained significant damage. Claims of military casualties also circulated following the incident, although no official confirmation was available.

Separately, residents reported an armed attack on a Pakistani forces checkpoint in the main bazaar area of Mangochar. According to local sources, the exchange of fire continued for an extended period, with gunfire and explosions heard across the area. Sources claimed that personnel stationed at the checkpoint suffered casualties, but no official details were released.

Another reported attack took place in the Doleji area of Jhaoo, where a Pakistani military camp was allegedly targeted by unidentified armed men during the night.

No organisation had claimed responsibility for any of the incidents at the time of reporting. Pakistani authorities had also not issued detailed statements regarding the reported attacks or alleged casualties.
