The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks targeting telecommunications infrastructure and a Frontier Corps (FC) post in parts of Balochistan.
In a statement issued to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said that the group’s fighters carried out an operation on 26 March 2026 in the Bhawani area of Hub Chowki, where machinery at a mobile tower site was set on fire and destroyed. He alleged that the targeted tower was being used for surveillance purposes.
The spokesperson further stated that, in a separate incident on 22 March, BLF fighters targeted a Frontier Corps post in the Charfanok area of Shehrak, Kech district, with rocket fire. According to the claim, the attack resulted in casualties and material losses among security forces.
He added that during the same incident, machinery at a nearby Ufone telecommunications tower was also set ablaze, rendering it inoperable.
The BLF said it accepts responsibility for the attacks on mobile towers in Hub and Shehrak, as well as the rocket attack on the FC post.
There has been no immediate official response from Pakistani authorities regarding the incidents.
