The body of a 17-year-old boy who disappeared months ago has been recovered in Turbat, local sources said, while the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) reported separate killings in Surab and Panjgur.

The body found near Bank Charhai on the Turbat–Pasni road was identified as Yawar Habib, son of Habib and a resident of Omari Kahn Shapuk, hospital and local sources said.

He had been abducted on June 16, 2025, at around 3:00 pm by unidentified armed men travelling in a vehicle from outside the Turbat bench of the Balochistan High Court, where he had appeared for a hearing, according to sources.

The body was shifted to Teaching Hospital Turbat, where it was identified by his brother, while hospital officials said he had sustained gunshot wounds to the head and back.

His family had earlier staged protests and a sit-in on the CPEC highway demanding his recovery.

Separately, a 30-year-old farmer, Obaidullah Baloch, was shot dead near Hajika Cross in Surab district, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) said.

The group said he had been returning home when Frontier Corps personnel opened fire and later labelled him a “militant”.

It condemned the killing as part of what it described as “ongoing oppression” in Balochistan and urged international human rights organisations to take notice and ensure accountability.

In a separate statement, the group said Muhammad Amir, a resident of Mastung, was taken from his home on the eve of Eid al-Fitr and shot dead within minutes, adding that no warrant was presented and no explanation provided.

It said the body was withheld for around 12 hours before being returned to the family, who were allegedly forced to sign documents they were not allowed to read.

Amir’s mother expressed grief over the killing, asking, “Do we raise our children so that anyone can enter our homes and kill them?”

The group added that a 23-year-old driver, Abdullah, was also killed on March 20 in Panjgur, describing the incidents as part of a pattern of targeted killings.

Pakistani authorities did not immediately comment on the allegations.
