Three children were killed and three others injured when an explosive device detonated inside a house in the Sunni area of Bolan district. Police officials said the blast occurred in the home of a man identified as Abdul Hayye Jatoi.
According to Acting SP Kachhi, Jan Mohammad Khosa, initial findings suggest that unknown individuals had planted the explosive material in the courtyard of the house two days earlier. He said investigators are examining the scene and gathering evidence to determine how the device was placed inside the compound.
The children who lost their lives were between thirteen and fourteen years old. They were identified as Nadeem Ahmed, Sona Khan and Bibi Bakhtawar. Police said three other individuals were injured in the explosion. They were taken to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.
Officials stated that the motive behind the incident has not yet been established. They added that inquiries are ongoing and that all possible angles are being explored.
