Bismil Nadeem, a young Balochi and Brahui language poet, passed away after a prolonged illness. He had been suffering from cancer and died while undergoing treatment.
Nadeem was a student at the Department of Media Studies, University of Balochistan. Despite his young age, he carved out a distinct identity in the world of literature, leaving a notable mark on Balochi and Brahui poetry. His work reflected the emotions of youth, social challenges, and themes of hope and resilience.
His collection of poetry, Wadaar (Waiting), was published during his lifetime and is regarded as a valuable contribution to contemporary Balochi literature.
Literary circles, writers, and fellow students have expressed deep sorrow at his passing, describing him as a rising creative voice whose life was cut short too soon. They said his memory and contributions to literature will endure.
