At least seven more people have reportedly been subjected to enforced disappearance by Pakistani forces in Balochistan in the past 36 hours.

Two young men, Nazeer Ahmed Zehri and Asghar Mengal, were allegedly forcibly disappeared from a football ground in Panjgur district on Wednesday evening.

Family members of the two men said they were detained without cause and called for their immediate release. “They were taken in front of witnesses without any legal justification,” one family member said, adding that their disappearance has left both families in deep distress.

In Awaran’s Mashkay Bazaar, Sajjad Noor s/o Noor Muhammad, was allegedly picked up by Pakistani forces at noon on July 29. His whereabouts remain unknown.

In Noshki district, Amanullah s/o Khuda Rahim, and Shabbir Ahmed s/o Abdul Salam, both residents of Jamalabad, were reportedly forcibly disappeared in a night raid at 2:00 a.m. on July 25.

Meanwhile, Bibarg Baloch, a government employee and resident of Asad Noor Market in Naal, was reportedly disappeared on July 30 at 6:00 p.m. According to sources, he was detained by Pakistani forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.

In a separate incident, Nizam Baloch was detained in the Sarenken area of Tump on July 27. His whereabouts are unknown.

Cases of enforced disappearances are reported almost daily across Balochistan. In many areas, such cases are not disclosed promptly due to fear of retaliation or state pressure on families, making it difficult to assess the full scale of the human rights crisis.
