Three Pakistani security personnel were killed in a bomb blast in the coastal city of Gwadar in Balochistan, Pakistani authorities have confirmed.
The explosion took place on Friday night in the Padizir area. A fourth person was also killed, and several others were injured.
Gwadar Station House Officer (SHO) Mohsin Ali said the blast targeted a vehicle carrying security forces. The vehicle was severely damaged in the explosion. He added that the area was cordoned off following the blast and an investigation is under way.
Local journalists at the scene also reported significant damage to the vehicle. Following the blast, security has been tightened across the city, with increased checkpoints and personnel placed on high alert.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
