On Tuesday, students from Turbat University organized a protest rally demanding the safe recovery of two missing students, Ihsan Sarwar and Kamal Sharif. The rally began from the university’s Chemistry Department, passed through the English Department and Administration Office, and culminated in front of the Education Department, where the students raised their voices for justice.

The protesters called for the immediate release of both students and all other individuals subjected to enforced disappearances. According to the demonstrators, the protest was not just about the recovery of their fellow students, but also to send a strong message to the government and relevant authorities that the issue of enforced disappearances must be addressed seriously.

The students emphasized that this issue goes beyond their university and is a critical concern for every student in Balochistan. They also urged the government to take swift and effective action for the recovery of Ihsan Sarwar, Kamal Sharif, and other missing individuals, in order to provide peace and reassurance to their families.

The protesters asserted that a prompt and effective resolution of such incidents is not only crucial for the affected families but also vital for the well-being and progress of society as a whole.
